MILO, Maine (WABI) – Milo’s city supervisor says it’s a “miracle” nobody was harm when a constructing partially collapsed with a household inside.
Police say 4 folks — the lady who owned the constructing, her boyfriend, and her two children — have been dwelling within the previous Masonic Constructing on Essential Road. They have been all there Monday round 2:30 p.m. when a part of the roof caved in.
City Supervisor Bob Canney says fortunately, they have been in a unique space of the constructing than the place the injury occured.
The household’s three cats additionally survived.
Canney says the lady was working to restore the roughly 100-year-old constructing. Now, it must be demolished.
The city is wanting into whether or not a constructing subsequent to it wants to return down, too.
