The State Congress management’s efforts to placate Palakkad’s dissident chief A.V. Gopinathan continued in earnest on Saturday with State working president Ok. Sudhakaran visiting him at his home at Peringottukurissi close to Alathur.
After a dialogue that lasted greater than an hour, Mr. Sudhakaran and Mr. Gopinathan appeared assured a couple of rapprochement. Mr. Gopinathan stated he would wait for 3 days for the KPCC resolution.
“We would like the Congress to regain its previous glory in Palakkad. I’m not looking for something for my private acquire. We would like a management that listens to, understands, empathises with the social gathering staff,” he advised The Hindu.
